Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, HRH seen in the cockpit of Airlander 10 during the unveiling. The £32m aircraft - nicknamed "The Flying Bum" was originally unveiled to the public at a naming ceremony by HRH The Duke of Kent in April 2016, but a few weeks later it crashed at the end of a test flight. At 92-metre long, the Airlander 10 is the longest aircraft in the world. The world's longest aircraft has been retired from service as developers prepare to start work on a new model.
