Deeply etched double-sided, blued panels with gold floral designs, owner's name "Wilhelm Roestef", and "Dem Feinde zum Trutz Dem Freunde zum Schutz." (tr. "Defence against foes, protection for friends."). Distributor engraved on spine "M. Neumann Hoflieferant Berlin." Nickel-plated iron scabbard, two attachment rings.
