It grows about a foot high, and has larger pseudo-bulbs ; the scapes also are stronger, the flexuose racemesbeing two feet in length, and well furnished with its beautifulflowers, which have the sepals and petals of a rich plum colourand crimson, and the lip, which is an inch and a half broad,mauve spotted with dark violet.
