Rene François Ghislain Magritte is a Belgium surrealist artist. The Magritte Museum in Brussels was opened on 2 June 2009 as is located in the Place Royale in Belgium. René Magritte was born on 21st November 1898 at Lessines in the Hainaut and died in Brussels of pancreatic cancer on 15th August 1967.
