It is of excel-lent flavor, productive,and as early as the ear-liest of the wrinkledvarieties. Fifteen podshave been counted onsome vines, and ninelarge peas in some ofthe pods. The vinegrows from six totwelve inches high, ac-cording to the soil andseason. The rows neednot be more than twofeet apart. Some of themarket gardenersaround Boston growthis only as their earlypea.
