Enjoying the view over Jebel Shams in Oman. Jebel Shams, which translates to “Mountain of Sun” is an mountain located in north-eastern of Oman and has an altitude of approximately meters ( feet). Jebel Shams is not really a mountain as you’d expect, it’s a mindboggling crevasse of immense proportions, therefore the name “Oman’s Grand Canyon” or “The Grand Canyon of Arabia” is way more fitting.
