(June 26, 2007) - Navy Diver 2nd Class Jarret Fielder, from Eugene, Ore., goes over safety procedures with Boy Scouts before using the parachute avoidance disentanglement system. Whidbey IslandÕs Aviation Survival Training Center (ASTC) hosted Boy Scout venturing crew 69 out of Moses Lake, Wash. The Scouts trained using the parachute over water simulator, parachute avoidance disentanglement system, parachute drag trainer, helicopter hoist, reduced breathing oxygen device and the virtual reality parachute descent trainer during their visit to ASTC.
