Crested tit (Lophophanes cristatus) perched on a branch in snow. This tit was formerly known as Parus cristatus. It prefers a habitat of coniferous forests and is found throughout central and northern Europe. It feeds mostly on insects and seeds. Photographed in Kusamo, Finland, in March.
