Kengo Suzuki from Japan finishing in fourth place at the Chicago Marathon 2021 on 10th October 2021. Over 35,000 runners competed in the marathon. The previous year's race was cancelled due to health concerns for runners, spectators and volunteers. Registered participants had to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results.
