View SE of the raised churchyard & twin aisles/naves of St Garmon's Church, Llanarmon-yn-Iâl, Denbighshire, Wales; UK: a notable late Medieval pilgrimage church rebuilt in 1736 & restored 1870. Offerings were made to a statue of St Garmon (St Germanus) which once stood in the churchyard. The almost circular churchyard suggests a Celtic/Early Christian monastic foundation, it is raised above village ground level, retained by a wall & encircled by roads.
