Statue of Vicente Rocafuerte in front of the Church of San Francisco in downtown Guayaquil, Ecuador. Rocafuerte was the first native president of Ecuador and the church, originally built during the 1700s, was rebuilt in 1902 following the devastating fires that burned much of the city in 1896. Image was altered by removing people and trademarks in PhotoShop.
