A pair of blunderbuss flintlock pistols, Ripoll, Spain, mid-18th century Two-stage barrels, octagonal then round after cut girdles, conical and reinforced muzzles. Brass-lined marks over the breeches signed "ANG LATS" beneath crown. Iron flintlocks with flat lock plates. Carved walnut stocks with florally engraved brass furnitures and silver escutcheons. Original wooden ramrods with brass tips. One ramrod shortened, barrels somewhat spotted, one stock with pressure mark on butt, both butt caps with traces of tin-lead solder on underside.
