Perspective view showing the central part of Nicholson Crater, looking west. This crater is around 100 kilometres wide. It is located at the southern edge of Amazonis Planitia, north-west of a region called Medusae Fossae. Image data obtained by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on Mars Express, which is orbiting Mars. Image published in 2004.
