The Estate of Utrecht. Apple trees Annotation: The estate owes its name to the life insurance company's Utrecht, Insurance NV. The company mined the vast moors widely from 1898. On May 25, 1899 a start was made with the mining of the first 700 hectares. The works were carried out by the Heidemij. Eventually, the heath was converted into 1,800 hectares of forest and 600 hectares of arable land, and in addition, continued to exist even 400 hectares nature.
