N. Craig, report of cultural merit; col- lection of narciFsi, eighteen varieties, from the same exhibitor, honorable men- tion. Some of the more striking sorts were Van Waveren's Giant, Will Scarlet, Cassandra, Albatross and Weardale Per- fection. Canna Fiery Cross and Chry- santhemum Morning Star were each awarded a vote of thanks. Mr. Reoch, the grower o£ ?the wonder- ful specinien calceolarias, said he sowed bis seed in May and gave a winter tem- perature of 48 to 50 degrees. His plants, four feet across, were grand examples of cultural skill. The enterprise and public spirit of Albert C. Burrage, in furnishing the great exhibition of New England orchids, were commented upon, and the club showed its appreciation by giving Mr. Burrage a rising vote of thanl^. The lecturer of the evening was B. P. Letson, manager of Carbone's flower store. His subject was *' Flower Ar- rangement," and it was pleasing to note that some otLer retailers were present to hear him.
