On Independence Day of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in a ceremony commemorating the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. In the morning, the presidential couple arrived at the memorial cross at the place of death of the participants of the Revolution of Dignity on the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in the center of Kyiv. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Olena Zelenska put icon lamps near the cross and bowed, honoring the memory of those who died for freedom.
