Chapel of the Holy Trinity in Canterbury Cathedral in Canterbury, Kent, England. It was constructed between 1179 and 1184 under the supervision of the master-masons William of Sens and William the Englishman as a shrine for the relics of St. Thomas Becket. The chapel became a major pilgrimage site, inspiring Geoffrey Chaucer to write The Canterbury Tales in 1387.
