I am slightly obsessed with Daffodil Cottage, the best preserved of the houses which once formed the village of Eskart before it was swallowed up by Balmacaan Forest to remain little more than a memory. This photogenic ruin sits on the steep sides of Glen Coiltie and is at it's best with a dramatic sky.
