OCEAN (May 8, 2017) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Nikolas Rojas uses a sledgehammer to release a pelican hook during a precision anchor drop test aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex is underway conducting sea trials off the coast of Southern California.
