The galeas Anne Marie passes through the open Knippelsbro Bridge in the port of Copenhagen. Knippelsbro Bridge - or Knippel Bridge - is a bascule bridge across the Inner Harbour of Copenhagen connecting Børsgade (Zealand side) to Torvegade on Christianshavn (Amager side of Copenhagen). It is one of only two bridges to carry motor vehicles across the harbour in central Copenhagen, the other being Langebro, both are heavily trafficked. The bridge, the fifth on the site, is 115 metres long and was inaugurated in 1937. In the background half built construction of the new and very much delayed movable bicycle and pedestrian bridge between Nyhavn and Christianshavn on the Amager side - and a bit further away the Royal Opera House designed by the Danish architect Henning Larsen and is a present from Mærsk McKinney Møller.
