North Sea, Denmark. December 23, 2023 : Cruise ship MS Maud (ex Midnatsol) by Hurtigruten Expeditions, here in Norway fjords. The Norwegian expedition vessel, with on board 400 passengers, caught in a huge storm off the Danish coast, was struck by rogue wave which damage the ship and broke bridge windows, flooding the electronic instruments, resulting in power outage and lost of navigational systems. The ship is redirected to Bremerhaven, Germany, escorted by a rescue tug and cruises are canceled until repair work is completed. Crew and passengers are safe. Credit: Kevin Izorce/Alamy Live News

The cruise ship is currently still in the open North Sea and is slowly moving towards Bremerhaven. Illustrative photos of the MS Maud in the Geiranger Fjord, Norway.
