A marvel of baroque detail, the artistry of the Wieskirche Pilgrimage Church near Steingaden was executed in the mid-1700s by architect Dominikus Zimmerman, his artist brother Johann, and sculptors Anton Sturm and Aegidius Verheist. It is one of Bavaria's most visited landmarks.
