5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (July 22, 2017) Sailors aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) participate in a game night hosted by the ship’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation committee. Carter Hall, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
