Roman mosaic. Second or third century mosaic showing a hunting scene with men riding on horses and using dogs. This type of hunting is probably a sport, and only enjoyed by the aristocracy of the time. Mosaics are constructed from small coloured cubes of stone and were common in ancient Roman homes of affluent citizens. It is housed in the Bardo Museum, Tunis, Tunisia.
