Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 (HMH-463) approach a poster of Sgt. Adam Schoeller, one of the 12 Marines memorialized during a squadron hike, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Jan. 11, 2018. The hike commemorated the Marines from the squadron who were lost in a CH-53E crash while conducting training operations in 2016. While the hike was a solemn reminder of those the squadron lost, it also served as an event to help celebrate the Marines’ lives and the proud traditions of HMH-463.
