Indeed, we have found by experience thatduring the season of high-priced eggs the White Wyandotte,with its small, rose comb uninjured by frost, will replenishthe egg basket when the Leghorn is nursing a frozen , it is a well-known fact that many varieties arehard to raise, comparatively few surviving the first fewweeks With a fair chance the White Wyandotte will reachmaturity a strong healthy bird.
