White woman carries USA flag after winning half marathon in Austin, Texas

Allison Mendez of Austin, Texas wins the half-marathon as more than 18,000 runners pounded the streets of downtown Austin for the 22nd annual Austin Marathon that attracts runners worldwide for its rolling and scenic course that touches many of Austin's known landmarks. The race was won by Edward Kiptum of Kenya in two hours, twenty two seconds.
