ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 26, 2016) Seaman Markia Lewis operates the weapons elevator in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Lewis works as an aviation ordnanceman aboard Ike. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
