Braubach is situated on the eastern side of the Rhine and is the most northern of all the pretty towns with their half-timbered buildings and narrow, crooked alleys that spread out into the side valleys of the Rhine. Many of the houses in the quiet corners of the sleepy old town were built between the 16th and the 18th century.
