In northern Burkina Faso, a Fulani wedding has taken place. Women bring gifts-pots, textiles, etc-to the bride's new home.
In the town of Djibo in northern Burkina Faso, a wedding has taken place. Friends and family of the bride carry gifts and possessions of the bride - pots and pans, blankets, textiles, and other items - from the bride's home to her new home with her husband. Surprisingly, many of these gifts are not destined for the bride or groom, but are being parceled out to wedding guests and relatives of the groom.
