MORE ABOUT VACATIONSCHOOLS NEXT MONTH Reports have reached Our MountainWork of a number of vacation Bibleschools. There have been some held forNegro groups. A complete report will becarried in the next issue. His ? A Teaching Ministry. Dr. Foreman Dr. Kenneth J. Foreman, professor ofDoctrinal Theology of the PresbyterianTheological Seminary, Louisville, Ky.,was ordained by Asheville Presbytery onSeptember 7, 1921. During his ministry as a teacher atDavidson and afterward at Louisville hehas been a member of this Presbytery for32 years. Born in New York state, he moved toMontreat as a youth and from therewent to Davidson College where he wasgraduated in 1911. After a period in theUnited States Navy, he attended UnionSeminary, Richmond, Va. for a year be-fore transferring to Princeton Univer-sity and Seminary, where he received de-grees of MA, STB, and STM in 1921,and 1922. After a period of study at Yalehe was awarded the degree of PhD in1935. Dr. Foreman was professor of Germanand Bible at Davidson for two years be-fore being made James Sprunt Professorof Bible and Philosophy in 1924, inwhich position he continued until 1947when he accepted a call to the facultyof the Louisville seminary.
