Cross hybrid of the Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii) and the Bornean orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus) at Usti nad Labem Zoo in North Bohemia, Czech Republic. Male orangutan Ferda was born in October 1969 in Frankfurt Zoo, Germany, and moved to Usti nad Labem Zoo from Prague Zoo in August 2002 after Prague Zoo was badly damaged by the 2002 floods.
