May be looked for occasionally upon the tomcodi Microgadus tomcod), upon skates, sculping, and species of blenny. Deposits its eggs in August (14th)and the last of October (October 20-30). Larva- unknown. Argulus latus Smith. Female only known. Carapace orbicular, wider than long, scarcely covering the second pair of legs; posterior sinusnarrow and about one-fifth the length of the carapace; eyes large and very far forward. Abdomen.
