Cardiovascular drugs. Assortment of drugs used for the treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Bisoprolol is a beta-blocker, used to treat angina and hypertension (high blood pressure) and to prevent heart attacks. Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, used to treat hypertension and congestive heart failure. Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine-type calcium channel blocker, used to lower blood pressure and prevent chest pain. Lipitor (atorvastatin) is a statin, used to lower blood cholesterol. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory drug and painkiller (analgesic) that is also used in low doses to help prevent heart attacks, strokes and blood clots.
