The dorsal valve has a broad flattened cardinal process, which dis-tinguishes it from those just mentioned, or from and others referredto Retzia. These features have been illustrated in the Twelfth Report onthe State Cabinet, and in the third volume of the Palaeontology of New-York. The following illustrations are repeated here, for comparison with thosealready given.
