Sgt. Thomas Sargent, from Little Rock, Virginia, finishes a 500-meter swim during a scout swimmers course July 9, 2018 at the Camp Hansen Aquatics Center. The scout swimmers course provides the Marine Corps with amphibious capabilities while teaching Marines to become proficient at long-distance swimming. Sargent is attached to Expeditionary Operations Training Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group.
