The intention here is to show the percentage of the districts in eachcounty which are able to operate on levies siiown in the legend. Quite apercentage of all the districts of the state are able to maintain their schoolson district levies of five mills or less. There is, however, a considerablepercentage of the districts in the different counties of the state that mustlevy from ten to fifteen mills. A study of the chart shows at once that inmost counties there are many wealthy districts whose tax levies are verylow. In most all counties there are many districts having low valuation withhigh tax levies. The inequalities as shown in the aggregate for each countytell an important story. I
