Con-spicuous among these is a silver processional cross. Thiscross is nearly two feet across the arms by three feet in heightfrom the top of the staff. There is a crucifix on one sideand a sitting figure of Our Lord on the other; figures ofSS. George, Vincent, Sebastian, Christoj)her, and Victor,and Our Lord on the base or knop; and half-figures of theI Evangelists on the arms of the cross. The ornamentsconsist of crockets bent and twisted, of blue enamels, filigree-work, nielli, and turquoises set in the centre of dark-blueenamels. It is, in short, a piece of metal work which mightwell make a modern
