It is also very profitable for the gar- dener and sbipper becatise it ripens uniformly, so that almost every pod may be gathered at one picking. The pods are hand- some, straight, and full of medium sized round peas of superior quality, and it is immensely productive for such an early variety. Height about twenty inches, and no supports are needed. After carefully testing the various "strains" and "brands" of real early peas for years, we are convinced that Livingston's First- in-Market leads all. This variety will positively satisfy you. The vine grows about three feet high, much like that of the Gradus, or Prosperity, but Inore hardy , and greatly more productive. The green peas are very large, fine colored, and unsurpassed in splendid quality. We are cer- tain that this pea needs only to be known to become one of the most popular sorts for the market-gardener, and home gar- den.
