Design for an Altar at San Petronio Bologna. Steps lead up to the altar in what is probably meant as an entirely painted niche pavillion. A curtain hangs in the rear intercolumniations. Angels crouching on the triangular pediment hold a cross. The Annunciation is shown in the lunette.
