Hurricane Gustav, Houma, LA, September 7, 2008 The volume of commodities being distributed at the State lead Point of Distribution (POD)at the, Houma Civic Center, is confirmed by the empty pallets being accumulated as distribution is ongoing. These pallets had contained water and Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) to go with the hot meal provided by local restaurants, handed out by local organizations and the National Guard.
