Nissen hut construction
Reciprocal aid. Building a Nissen hut at an airfield in Britain for American Army Air Forces. British labour and material is used in the construction of runways, offices, sleeping quarters and all essential services required for an airport. These facilities are supplied to the United States under the Reciprocal Aid Program. FEB 1943 Public Domain images lack resolution, contrast and contain blemishes due to their age. Diligent upscaling of this image and deteriorating blemishes are removed; occasional marks may be preserved to show authenticity of the image thus making a better option to aged PD images.
