This new Tomato, first introduced last year, is described as follows by the originator:—The 'Favorite' has several advantages over my other varieties. It is smoother than the Paragon, and never hollow late in the season. I had tomatoes ripe-n in July, and the same vines had an abundant crop on them Sept. 22d. Does not crack after ripening, like the Acme; is of a darker red than the Perfection, and is larger than either. It has very few seeds, is ripe all through at once, and is very product- ive. It will bear shipping finely, and for canning cannot be excelled.
