GURAH, NORTH OF ELWAK, EASTERN KENYA, 1st SEPTEMBER 2009: Sheperdess Harida, 15, looks after the family's goats. Her own family's herd has shrunk from 120 to ten goats due to the drought. She injured her eye in a fight over water by the tanker during the last delivery. She is scared she might loose her eye because she has no access to medical treatment. Northern Aid water tankers supplies water to Gurah community. The weekly delivery of water lasts for four days.
