MODEL OF HMS MATCHLESS. 1945, ON BOARD HMS SWIFTSURE. - Able Seaman Anthony Percy Carter, of Chelmsford, Essex, with the finished model of the destroyer HMS MATCHLESS which has taken a year to complete in his spare time while serving in HMS SWIFTSURE. It is made of match sticks, odd bits of tin and scrap pieces of wire, and the whole weighs only 1/2 lb and measures 2 ft. All the parts are independent and work perfectly
