Model of a Disengaging Gear for Paddle Wheels. Model of the crankshaft decoupling of a scoop wheel, on a base board. The pin of the stool falls into a slot of a cup to the stool of the Rader-axis, which, when rotated in the correct position, releases the pin and thereby disconnects the shaft. With every stroke, the pin of the stool then moves freely through the slot. Both axes can be moved with a crank. Scale 1: 5 (derived).
