Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching to vertex of head aud fringed with scales in front, the 3rd moderate ; frons smooth ; eyes large, rounded ; anteunss of male ciliated ; build slender ; head and tliorax clothed with scales; the prothorax with spreading crest; the metalhorax without crest; tibiEe moderately fringed with hair ; abdomen elongate, slender, without crests. Fore wing elongate, ratiier narrow, the termen evenly rounded ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; the areole rather large, vein 6 from it; '.• from 10 anastomosing with 8 ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 and (3,7 rather strongly stalked; 5 obsolescent from middle of discoeellulars; 8 rather strongly anastomosing with cell. A.
