Barttelot, Bart.,of Stopham. Thomas settled in Watertown, Mass., and wasknown as Ensign Thomas. He left no maleissue. Richard and John settled in Newbury,Mass. Some of their descendants acquired greatwealth and influence in the country of theiradoption. Crests : A. A swan, couchant,argent, wings endorsed, argent. B. A castle with three turrets,sable.
