Lord Bao Memorial Temple, Kaifeng, Henan, China
Memorial for Bao Zheng (Bao Gong), prefect of Kaifeng (Bian) during the Song Dynasty. Bao Zheng gained a reputation for scrupulous honesty and integrity. He fought corruption in all government roles over a 25 year period. The small memorial is located on the west edge of Baogong Lake in the southwestern corner (Gulou Qu) of central Kaifeng. Bao Zheng was occasionally compared to Guan Gong, the god of war.
