The Monument to the Homeland, as a monument to Croatian identity and a place to pay tribute to the Homeland, is a new vision of the city center integrated into the existing urban values of the central Zagreb axis, located on the green area on Stjepan Radić Square, between the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall and the City Administration building of the City of Zagreb.
The monument consists of three objects: the Wall of Light (inspired by the authentic Wall of Pain), the Monumentum with the Eternal Flame and the Portal - Pavilion, which together form the site of the official, protocol-regulated tribute ceremony.
